Milan is ready for new transformations in view of the upcoming ''2026 Olympics'' which will be held from February 6 to 22. In truth, it is a city that has never stopped, always in constant motion; walking around the center, there isn't a corner where you can't glimpse the start of a new construction site ready to bring to life new real estate projects destined to leave a mark on the Milanese skyline.
The city is already projected towards the realization of the ''Winter Olympic Games Milan-Cortina 2026'', ready to amaze and show the world its unique qualities and characteristics that have always distinguished it in our country.
There is a lot of excitement, interest, and curiosity from the Milanese themselves, who are already wondering how such an important event will impact and transform the streets and neighborhoods where they live or work every day.
Many areas of intervention are planned for the XXV Winter Olympic Games:
The Porta Romana Rail Yard will be the main site for redevelopment, regeneration, and urban transformation for the Olympics, where a true Olympic Village will be built.
In the Santa Giulia district, the ''Palaitalia'' will rise, a large and modern amphitheater designed by the starchitect David Chipperfield that will host ice hockey competitions.
In Lampugnano, the new Milan Hockey Arena will be built, replacing the former Palasharp Sports Hall.
The Forum di Assago will also be involved in the games with a new expansion and redevelopment project.
The cities involved in the event, in addition to Milan, will be:
Cortina d'Ampezzo (Belluno)
Bormio (Sondrio)
Livigno (Sondrio)
Predazzo (Trento)
Tesero (Trento)
